Here at Emley First School we are always happy to help support parents who may be looking for some guidance or support with supporting their children. The following links all provide access to a variety of resources that may be useful to better understand your child, particularly if their mood has changed and you are not entirely certain why.

    Yorkshire Children's Centre

    We provide early interventions and medium to longer-term support for children and those in a child’s circle of influence who are facing challenges with their social, emotional, and mental health – meaning we’re experts in dealing with the difficult everyday issues they face.

    We listen, we respect, we include, and we care. And through the work that we do, we aim to make a positive and lasting difference for the people we support.

    Information Sessions

    Sessions delivered both in person and online. It will be stated on the booking form which events will be in person and which you can access online. The sessions are interactive, giving you an opportunity to share and engage in activities. Please don't be shy, we're all in the same boat!

    MindEd For Families

    MindEd for Families has been developed in two phases. The first phase, funded by DfE, is intended to support parents and those caring for children and young people in their family when they are concerned about a young person’s mental health or well-being. The second phase, funded by NHSE, provides support for older people and their families when they are concerned about mental health and well-being, either their own or other family members.
